Don’t want to miss an opportunity to make a Christmas Card

The bird is die cut with memory box ‘Nestled Bird’, I also used various greenery from WPlus9 stamp and die cut sets. The sentiment ‘Let Heaven and nature Sing’ is a memory box wood mount stamp onto vellum and heat embossed in white.

Spring is in the Air!

SPRING IS IN THE AIR!

 The Clean and Simple Challenge at Splitcoast Stampers
asks to Think Spring!

Here are my thoughts. I’ve used SSS101488 Artful Flowers and WPlus9 'Fresh Cut Florals' leaves with a Verve 'Beautiful You set W-08-030' sentiment.

I colored the flowers with Distress Stains in picked raspberry and scattered straw. I used a water brush to apply the colors to the heat embossed in white and die cut flowers. I added yellow stickles in the centers and sparkly tiny stickers.

CC624-A Delightful Garden of Blackberries is the color challenge at Splitcoast Stampers this week.

I’ve used stamps and dies from Altenew’s "Beautiful Day" set. I stamped the leaves and such in DI mowed lawn and colored in with copics in the blackberry look-a-like colors. The Flower is stamped in DI mustard seed and SU Mango. The weather is so unseasonably warm and my daffodils are ready to pop!

This wonderful sketch has SPRING written all over it! So here I am with Dogwoods. It's almost time for those beauties to bloom here in New England. (maybe)

I've used the Verve sentiment from the Egg-stra Special set. The stitched circles are Lil' Inker, the flowers are Elizabeth 'bunch of flowers 4' die plate, the branch is Momenta and the background strip is Martha Stewart's lattice border punch and gingham designer paper
.

Mojo Monday 392

Love the sketch this week at  Mojo Monday 392! I'm taking a short break from flowers this week (or just today) for a more masculine card. (Not that women don't enjoy golf) but this is for my husband's friend/golfing partner's birthday. And yes, he does enjoy golf very much. The golf card and bag are from memory box, and the sentiment is from Verve's "Small Packages" set vs-0224.

Love is everywhere and for today's challenge at The Card Concept I want to send Hugs and Kisses to my daughter who's away at school. I was so much inspired by the red to pink ombre and was bound and determined to use all the colors in the inspiration photo. Player Guest- Kimberly Wiener 

Our guest designer this week is the fabulous Kimberly Wiener! Kimberly's blog is filled with modern, chic, hip, and very gorgeous designs. Every creation is bright, fresh and very appealing to the eye. She is as sweet as can be as well. We are delighted to have her as guest designer at AAA CARDS  for the two weeks.  

I went dumpster diving for old crafting supplies with this one. The Santa Rosa "Acorns & Wheat" stamp was purchase in the early 90's but I still love it. The K & Company designer paper has seen some years but the print reminds me of turkey feathers. Too beguiling!
