THINK SPRING!

Mojo Monday 440

This wonderful sketch has SPRING written all over it! So here I am with Dogwoods. It's almost time for those beauties to bloom here in New England. (maybe)

I've used the Verve sentiment from the Egg-stra Special set. The stitched circles are Lil' Inker, the flowers are Elizabeth 'bunch of flowers 4' die plate, the branch is Momenta and the background strip is Martha Stewart's lattice border punch and gingham designer paper

Merry Christmas Ornament!

Mojo Monday 423

This is one festive sketch and I wanted to take full advantage to use one of my favorite Verve "Ornament Christmas sets. The designer paper is by Anna Griffin and the embossed background is by lifestyle Crafts  embossing  folder and die cut panel using Spellbinders majestic Marvelous Squares. The Ornament was stamped onto a red holiday gift box and heat embossed with gold powder. Then set onto a vellum square with the decorative swirl stamp from the set w-08-042.

Lily of the Valley

Tall & Skinny
Products used: Distress Inks, Lil' Inker stitched circle die, taylored expression banner die, Spellbinders Long Classic Rectangle die, aqua brush

It's Tall and Skinny Day at Mojo Monday and I wanted to finally use my Framed Florals from Verve. I stamp the lilies onto watercolor paper in distress ink forest moss and peeled paint and watercolored in some watered down DI seedless preserves. The designer papers are from memory box 'gossamer' 6x6 paper collection.

Christmas Door

I'm so far behind on my Holiday card quota and just love any opportunity to get some done. I've turned Julee's wonderful sketch to showcase a Christmas Door.
Again, I've used Verve's "O Christmas Tree" set of 15 for wreath and sentiment. I stamped the wreath in Distress ink forest moss and used QuicKutz circle dies. The bow is colored with copics RV34 Dark pink and R59 Cardinal. The door shape is a Lil' inker rectangle mat covered with an Impression Obsession  Rectangle framelit die.

Have yourself a very Merry...

Julee has presented a very elegant and versatile sketch this week. I've got loads of cards to make and this sketch has easy -to create- layers. I've used three stamps from Verve's 'O Christmas Tree' set of 15 VS-09-041. I embossed the focal panel with a Lifestyle Crafts "Whimsy" embossing folder. I sponged with Distress Ink forest moss. The wreath is colored with red and green copics.

Birthday Dots to you

Had to give Julee's sketch a try this week because I just purchased Verve's "On Occasion" set of 11 and die. The frilly label and bold pink flower are a feminine contrast to the gray panels. This flower is so much fun to color (with copics) and fussy cut.

Skinny Birthday Blues

For this week's Tall and Skinny Sketch my card (3.5" x 5.5") will fit in an A2 envelope. I've substituted the rectangular panel with the Spellbinders Labels 18 die. My flower is colored with copics and fussy cut. Sparkly stickers are applied to the center.

Card Ingredients: Verve's Birthday to You sentiment VSPJ-0077, Verve Flower VSA-10-018, Spellbinders Labels eighteen and Petite oval, Anna Griffin Cuttlebug embossing folder and random greenery.

Skinny Thank You

MOJO MONDAY 347  - TALL AND SKINNY
Card Ingredients: Verve "Great Friend" set VSA-10-018, Quickutz circle die, Lifestyle Crafts embossing folder,
What a sweet sketch Julee has presented for today. I made this card for a neighbor who often prepares a meal for us just because we love her cooking. It has a summery asian flair. I stamped the verve flower twice in brown ink and fussy cut. I added cinnamon stickles to the center. My card is 3.5" x 5.5"
