Watercolored Hollyhocks AAA Cards Game 14

It's BACK! Creating with watercolor techniques sure is fun. This week I've used Derwent Inktense water soluble ink pencils. I die cut the hollyhocks out of watercolor paper and partially colored areas of the blooms. I use the aqua brush to move the colors around for blending. When I was finished with the sections I flicked the brush on the card base. Let's call it hollyhock pollen. Anyway, it was fun.

I hope you join us at AAA Cards this week for some watercoloring too!

Beautiful card Angela! I love how it turned out. I will have to try this someday. I really like that it is cut out, it brings it to life. The lace and vase are perfect!

Swoooooooon, Angela, this is really lovely! That little doily behind the flowers is gorgeous; it looks like tatted lace! Care to share its source?
