I love all the plants and flowers for the holidays. Today Holly is tops. I've used the holly part from a Sizzix Bigz extra long "Candle with Holly & Bow" die. This holly is a good size to be the focal point.
The colors just scream Yummy Holiday don't they! I tried to incorporate all of the colors from the inspiration. The mistletoe has the white berries and the stars at the end of the stir all white liquid pearls. The martini is a silver Gelly Roll pin, the image is stamped onto ivory with a shimmery frame and background. The card base is brown.![]() |

Kraft products are wonderful for the holidays. Kraft paper wrapped gifts with bright festive bows are beautiful. I've used a recycled Kitchen Papers for dining & Serving product (www.kitchenpapers.com). It's a Reversible Placemat "Tapestry" that has gold tapestry on one side and silver on the other. The Pad of 25 placemats is too pretty to use as a place mat so I die cut the 18.5" by 12.5" into all kinds of paper craft projects. It's great for treat/favor boxes as well.![]() | ||
I really enjoyed creating for this week's challenge at
The Card Concept! Sunflowers look so great with black and white checks. Throw in a little lace for a country feel and I can smell the jams being made.
I stamped the Sunflowers image in versamark, heat embossed with white powder, colored with copics in yellows, greens and brown tones and fussy cut.
