It's starting already here... the changing of the leaves! I'm so not ready for winter but who can resist all the wonderful colors of autumn. So I've stamped the WPlus9 leaves in distress inks fired brick, wild honey, vintage photo and crushed olive. The cute little fox and sentiment are by lawn fawn, and where colored with copics in E09 burnt sienna and E33 sand and fussy cut.

Happy Fall -AAA Cards #21
Game 21 Fussy Cutting
I do enjoy a bit of fussy cutting sometimes. Just in case you are not familiar with the term 'fussy cutting' it is using scissors to cut out shapes and/or designs in stead of die cuts and punches.
My oak leaf stamp is very old but I love it. I used the rock and roll technique to add the browning edges to the leaves. I first stamped the leaf in the main colors (DI fired brick and crushed olive) and then rolled the stamp around the edges in DI brushed corduroy.
I can't wait to see YOUR fussy cutting in the AAA Cards Gallery!

Golden Anniversary
Julia's bright and dazzling card is inspiring in so many ways! I needed a fall anniversary card, and so, I've used Verve's "Feel the Sun" set quote stamp as my sunny inspiration along with a Sizzix Bigz "primitive hearts #2" die. The flourish is Impression Obsession "heart and flourish" die.
Show us how you are inspired by this week's challenge at AAA Cards!

Wildflower Birthday
CAS(E) this Sketch #83
Gayatri has come up with a fantastic sketch this week! The Design Team has inspired me
and I'm doing a mixed bag of flora. The daisies are from Sizzix/Hero Arts stamp&die-cut set,
The tini flowers are from WPlus9 fresh florals and the stamped background leaves are from
another Sizzix/Hero Arts stamp&die-cut set. All these pieces were leftover from other
projects and begging to be used.
Flowers for You
I think that I have fallen in love with distress inks and markers watercoloring. Using the aqua brush and watercolor paper makes it so easy by stamping the images onto watercolor paper and moving and blending the colors with the aqua brush. I lightly outlined the square stamp with vintage photo and moved the color inward with the aqua brush. I did not stamp off first to soften because I like the vibrant colors.
I've used florals from three Verve sets; leaves and sentiment from VSA-10-018 "Great Friend" Set of 12, vase, greenery and small flower from -W-08-022 "Asian Flair" set of 13, and greenery, purple flowers and small flower from VS-09-015 "Because of You" set of 16. The butterfly was an extra from another project.

AAA Cards BLOG HOP IS HERE!
For today's post, I wanted to make a card for a sweet friend that invites us to events and whatever. Instead of a bottle of wine why not a nice card and some little note cards that can be added to another hostess' gift!
The "Thank You" sentiment is stamped and heat embossed with white power onto vellum and adhered to the designer paper. The flowers/foliage is stamped onto card stock with DI shabby shutters, accented in centers with DI markers in shabby shutters and forest moss and a Stampendous "Dot Sparklers in Silver" added to the flower centers.
Here's the complete gift set
I purchased a package of 3⅛” square envelopes from my
local stamp store and decided to make 3"x3" note cards and envelop box holder.
You
will need a 4¼” by 11” strip of card stock (the heavier the better).
Score
each long side at ½”.
Score
short side at 3⅜”, 3⅞”, 7¼”, 7⅞”
cut away as indicated above.
Punch wholes for string/ribbon before the sides are adhered with score or redline tape

Whatever You're Celebrating...
CASology Week 87: BLUSH
I didn't think much outside the box so "blush" for me today is soft pink.
I inked up the large rose wood mount rubber stamp by Impression Obsession using
Faber Castell PITT artist pens in medium flesh and pink madder lake for the flower and Distress Inks shabby shutters and forest moss for the leaves. I spritzed with water, stamped, let dry, stamped script image and heat embossed in white and fussy cut.
The bottom right corner is a vellum panel. This card can easily be massed produced. You can get a couple of watercolored roses at a time. I actually like fussy cutting. The card base measures 3⅞” x 5⅜” so that the flower can be off the page and card can easily fit in an A2 envelope.

Cool Color Palettes
For my first card I used a Balzer Designs template and distress inks in earth tones for the background. The dogwoods were stamped twice die cut and fussy cut the second layer to pop up.I don't know why I chose to make flowers in these tones but I love the result.

Watercolor Pom Pom
The Wonder of Watercolor Challenge at Moxie Fab World
........ Color without boundaries ......
I was playing around with my newest purchase of this Hero Arts "Pom Pom Flower" stamp and some Distress inks and actually loved the results! The pillow colors are very intriguing. I'm usually happiest when the colors are inside the line, but hey "Be happy! it's all good! (sentiment by PrintwWorksCollection). The border is a QuicKutz Cookie Cutter "Flowers" die. Also a black brad added to center of flower.

TLC419 ~ Puzzle Piece Resist ~ (3/4/13)
I
first stamped the Poppystamps “fancy background” onto white card stock. I then
stamped the flower in versamark and kissed the background stamp to pick up the
texture. Both were heat embossed with white powder and I die cut the center of
the bg with the coordinating die for the flower. I kept the flower in the die
for sponging in distress ink worn lipstick and peeled paint. The background was
sponged with Distress ink stormy sky.
