Celebrate Watercoloring AAA Cards Game #27

Game 27 - Play with Watercolors

This week for playing with watercolors I've painted the Twinkling H2Os directly on to the Hero Arts Large Floral Background Stamp. My colors are Pink Azalea and Sunflower. I added water to the containers and applied with a paint brush and stamped. Can't get much easier than that!

Whatever You're Celebrating...

CASology Week 87: BLUSH

I didn't think much outside the box so "blush" for me today is soft pink.

I inked up the large rose wood mount rubber stamp by Impression Obsession using
Faber Castell PITT artist pens in medium flesh and pink madder lake for the flower and Distress Inks shabby shutters and forest moss for the leaves. I spritzed with water, stamped, let dry, stamped script image and heat embossed in white and fussy cut.

The bottom right corner is a vellum panel. This card can easily be massed produced. You can get a couple of watercolored roses at a time. I actually like fussy cutting. The card base measures 3⅞” x 5⅜” so that the flower can be off the page and card can easily fit in an A2 envelope.

Sage Happy Birthday

Birthday cards are always needed.
I had this sage frame around since last October for a possible Christmas card.
The Sketch Challenge #475 at Splitcoaststampers was the perfect opportunity to finally use the frame for a birthday card.

The roses are die cut with Sizzix Bigz 3-D Flower die.
The leaves are die cut with the Elizabeth curvy die.

(See what I used to make the frame below.)
Card Ingredients: Elizabeth Curvy Leaves die, Sizzix 3-D Flowers die,
Spellbinders Nestabilities Majestic Elements "Marvelous Squares" and "classic squares" dies,
JustRite sentiment,  Stampin' Up word window label.

Over The Edge for Him and Her

I love the leftovers or negative space of die cutting. Each cut of the Impression Obsession heart flourish produced at least three possibilities for cards. Here are my two St. Valentine's Day cards: one in orange for my daughter at School and gray for my husband.
