Hang in there

HYCCT1201B - For Kid's Sake
by stamp_momma (Lori)

Challenge: Make a card(s) for the kiddos! These could be for a child who is called to stand strong much to early by fighting or a child that needs a little extra lovin' while mom or dad focuses on getting well.

Image, designer printed paper and sentiment are from Doodle Pantry’s pre-colored digitals.

Christ's love ...

My card today is for the Clean and Simple Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.
The challenge is to make a tent card using one of two tutorials in the SCS resources.

The grandkids are coming to town and I am a little behind with the Christmas Card Challenge quota. I like being three months ahead but summer has been very busy.

The sentiment is a Doodle Pantry digi and I printed it onto the card base. I used a Spellbinders circle for the opening and added the leftover red embossed wreath from the cards below to the opening. The poinsettia is made using a QuicKutz die.

The ornament is made with the center portion
of the stamped and embossed image

Blooming Wonderful Day!

TLC376  "Paper Piecing" at Splitcoaststampers
DPDC23 Doodle Pantry May Challenge

I like paper piecing and I chose the hardest image to paper piece. The Mini Roses digi image from Doodle Pantry was perfect, so I copied it four times onto gray, green, red and the light green bazzill card stock and used a craft knife to cut away the negative space in the green leaves and cut out the red roses to glue in place. The sentiment is from the digi set as well. What a lovely set with lots of choices for sentiments.

SCS - CAS167 at the Zoo

Clean and Simple Challenge #167

My daughter is ready to be home from College. She's excited about home cooking, clean quarters and her little dog.
This Doodle Pantry digital image of the Panda is to remind her that there are only a few weeks to ago, and she can enjoy the amenities of home.

The Tiger is a drawing my daughter did when she was  in high school. She titled it "White". I like to make up cards to send to her when she's down or if I have not heard from her in a while. The sentiment is from the Doodle Pantry Panda digi set.

From Bluejay to Cardinal...

Only 100 more Christmas cards needed for 2012...

I've already made 100 cards for Christmas 2012 and my goal is 200.
I used an outline from the Bluejay digital set at  Doodle Pantry  and printed onto ivory card stock, colored with copics and added frosted stickles for the fun of it. Loving the digis!

Bluejay

OSCC178 - Three Circles,  DPDC22 andCAS166 at SCS

I used Doodle Pantry's Bluejay Digital set which includes the designer paper, pre-colored bluejay and sentiment. I think this is a perfect image for Christmas cards as well!
This is also for the Clean and Simple sketch challenge inspired by Mary at Splitcoaststampers.
