A Vellum Thank You

 Old Calypso Lagoon

For the color challenge over at Splitcoaststampers the hostess presented us with the colors

OLD OLIVE, CALYPSO CORAL, LOST LAGOON

I stamped in versamark onto vellum and heat embossed the image. At first this was not one of my favorite stamps and so I wanted to try some -close-to-the- colors above on the back side of the embossed vellum floral image. I tore the bottom edge for no specific reason and tied some lightweight ribbon with wire from Michaels around the front. I actually like the way this one turned out.

Birthday Martini

Pals Paper Art Challenge - PPA188 - A Sketch Challenge I stumbled upon this site just this evening and wanted to make a birthday card for a good friend. I followed the sketch except for my oversized circle. I wanted the image and sentiment together. The Birthday Martini is by Impression Obsession, Inc., and the sentiment is by Art Impressions. They seem to be made for each other. The tag just personalizes it more. The letters are stamped with JustRite monogram kit.

Monochromatic Thank You

The Learning Technique at SCS - TLC422 ~ Monochromatic Madness

I used a Magenta flower wood mount stamp by first stamping the image onto green card stock. I then stamped onto white vellum. Both were heat embossed in white powder and the vellum flowers were fussy cut and popped up. I added some extra green with copics. The sentiment is by Verve
