Hello Fall

I have been playing around with pages from a very old book and made these leaves last week but was waiting for the perfect opportunity to use them. Don’t want to rush the season.

I saw this one of Loll’s and loved it:

I glued the book’s page to some card stock and die cut with Tim Holtz “tattered leaves” by Sizzix. I sponged with Distress inks and added a button from my stash. I used the corner chomper to soften the bottom edges.

Easing into FALL!

The flower is Sizzix/Hero Arts stamp & die cut set

CC389 Bravo Regal Starfruit
Designer Paper is from DCWV “Green Tea” stack.
The stamped image, sentiment and sentiment label
are from the SU “Just Believe” cling set.

SCS Sketch Challenge 399
I used Spellbinders' square and label dies
for masks using both negative and positive.
I used the square mask over the blank
panel to first stamp the image with

Versamark and heat emboss with clear powder.
I then used the label to mask a section for the sentiment
to stamp and sponge after the main panel.

The sentiment is Verve

The Pumpkins are Stampabilities’ “Fall Holidays” clear stamp set,
The fall spray is a Santa Rosa “Acorns & Wheat” wood mount,
the sentiment is Verve’s Happy Fall set.

Mostly Minty Birthday

Minty Fresh Challenge in the Moxie Fab World

As Cath Edvalson (Host for Moxie Fab World) says;
"Not too yellow, not too blue, mint green is that soothing shade in between."

I totally agree! How refreshing!
I managed to find a couple of sheets of minty designer paper from Colorbok "Pastel Breeze" stack and paired it with watercolor paper. The label and floral accent are from Sizzix/Hero Arts stamp & die-cut set 65775.
I stamped the floral accent in versamark and onto minty green vellum and heat embossed in white.
The stamped the label in versamark onto the watercolor paper and heat embossed in white also. I found this cute green pearl cluster brads in my local stamp store. The sentiment is Hero Arts.
The card measures 3.5" x 5.5" which is the perfect size for Sizzix Biz Scalloped envelop die #656095.

Queen Kathleen CASE

Kathleen is a kindhearted human being and loved by more than a few at SCS. She created a good size gallery in a short period of time with unique and very interesting themes.  She’s very artistic, also!

In honor of the Queen For The Day at SCS

I've chosen to CASE this CARD of hers.
I stamped the flower image onto the Financial Times news paper, colored flowers with copics, glued it to a piece of card stock, stitched around border, mounted onto SB Romantic Rectangle then red card stock and then base.

and for the second CARD
The background is stamped with Hero Arts' Large flower pattern in distress inks shabby shutters and cut down to 4"x4". The card base is 4.75" square using MS punch around corner and border punches.

Celebrating 400th Sketch Challenge

In celebrating 400 Sketch Challenges at SCS we were to go back to previous sketches. There are 399 and all just grand. I took a shine to this Sketch SC235. I was intrigued by all the circles and thought that the Stampin Up' "Just Believe" cling set with the floral circle stamp was the perfect choice. This is also one the new in colors "summer starfruit". The sentiment is Verve and Spellbinders' dies.
