Happy Mother's Day

I've  used VERVE'S "Because of You" sentiment and "Feel the Sun" sets so much because of the versatility. I stamped many flowers onto watercolor paper and heat embossed with white powder. I colored with distress inks and PITT artist pens and an aqua brush.

 I then fussy cut two to pop one layer up.

The last Monday of the month is now Tall & Skinny!

My card is 3.5" x 5.5"

The circle hangs off the right side a bit and is perfect size for an A2 Envelope.  

I've used stamps from Verve's "Because of You" set of 16 VS-09-015. 

The repurposed corrugated strip is from a box, the dsp is

K & Company and dp scraps, and the ribbon band is waxed jute.

Another wonderful sketch by Julee! I just love this Toile paper by Recollections and wanted to feature it's scene as much as possible. I die cut the circle and framed it to go over the pattern. I used a light pink vellum to allow the pattern to show through. The banners are made using accompanying designer papers from the collection. The Verve flowers are stamped and heat embossed in blush powder and fussy cut.
