Welcome all to the new schedule of CAS cards every two weeks! I'm loving it and hope you will as well. Today's card is for someone in my family. I have not decided who yet. I started by die cutting a panel with a Spellbinders heart, adding some left over striped designer paper to the main card base and popped up the top panel. The cute pink button was too hard to resist. I'm hoping the earth tone leaves can help it pass as a card for hubby. The sentiment is by Simon Say's Stamp (handwritten borders) and I fussy cut and added a few sequins.

Love is everywhere and for today's challenge at The Card Concept I want to send Hugs and Kisses to my daughter who's away at school. I was so much inspired by the red to pink ombre and was bound and determined to use all the colors in the inspiration photo. Happy New Year and Happy everything! What a beautiful start to the year with the pretty package in the photo. I tend to take things literally so naturally for my 'classy & elegant' design I made flowers and use striped designer paper to say Happy Anniversary. Game 30 Holiday Plaids

I love all the plants and flowers for the holidays. Today Holly is tops. I've used the holly part from a Sizzix Bigz extra long "Candle with Holly & Bow" die. This holly is a good size to be the focal point.
I've enhanced the plaid holly with a fussy cut 'Christmas Holly' by Rubber Stampede colored with copics.

 The colors just scream Yummy Holiday don't they! I tried to incorporate all of the colors from the inspiration. The mistletoe has the white berries and the stars at the end of the stir all white liquid pearls. The martini is a silver Gelly Roll pin, the image is stamped onto ivory with a shimmery frame and background. The card base is brown.

Christmas Door

MOJO MONDAY 374

I'm so far behind on my Holiday card quota and just love any opportunity to get some done. I've turned Julee's wonderful sketch to showcase a Christmas Door.

Again, I've used Verve's "O Christmas Tree" set of 15 for wreath and sentiment. I stamped the wreath in Distress ink forest moss and used QuicKutz circle dies. The bow is colored with copics RV34 Dark pink and R59 Cardinal.The door shape is a Lil' inker rectangle mat covered with an Impression Obsession  Rectangle framelit die.
