Christmas Door

I'm so far behind on my Holiday card quota and just love any opportunity to get some done. I've turned Julee's wonderful sketch to showcase a Christmas Door.
Again, I've used Verve's "O Christmas Tree" set of 15 for wreath and sentiment. I stamped the wreath in Distress ink forest moss and used QuicKutz circle dies. The bow is colored with copics RV34 Dark pink and R59 Cardinal. The door shape is a Lil' inker rectangle mat covered with an Impression Obsession Rectangle framelit die.

Warm Blue Wishes
Game 29 Christmas/Hanukkah/Blue Cards

We still have snow from the day before Thanksgiving and the ground and trees are glistening. It's very cold so no melting yet.
I've used memory box "small Madison Window" and "Calm Countryside" dies and sentiment. The embossing is Lifestyle Crafts "Whimsy" folder.

Have yourself a very Merry...
Julee has presented a very elegant and versatile sketch this week. I've got loads of cards to make and this sketch has easy -to create- layers. I've used three stamps from Verve's 'O Christmas Tree' set of 15 VS-09-041. I embossed the focal panel with a Lifestyle Crafts "Whimsy" embossing folder. I sponged with Distress Ink forest moss. The wreath is colored with red and green copics.

Give Thanks AAA Cards #28
November16 - 29 #28 Inspire Player Guest- Thanksgiving
November16 - 29 #28 INSPIRE - Thanksgiving
Player Guest- Kimberly Wiener
Our guest designer this week is the fabulous Kimberly Wiener! Kimberly's blog is filled with modern, chic, hip, and very gorgeous designs. Every creation is bright, fresh and very appealing to the eye. She is as sweet as can be as well. We are delighted to have her as guest designer at AAA CARDS for the two weeks.
I went dumpster diving for old crafting supplies with this one. The Santa Rosa "Acorns & Wheat" stamp was purchase in the early 90's but I still love it. The K & Company designer paper has seen some years but the print reminds me of turkey feathers. Too beguiling!

Christmas Kraft Wreath TCC #23
Kraft products are wonderful for the holidays. Kraft paper wrapped gifts with bright festive bows are beautiful. I've used a recycled Kitchen Papers for dining & Serving product (www.kitchenpapers.com). It's a Reversible Placemat "Tapestry" that has gold tapestry on one side and silver on the other. The Pad of 25 placemats is too pretty to use as a place mat so I die cut the 18.5" by 12.5" into all kinds of paper craft projects. It's great for treat/favor boxes as well.Hop on over to The Card Concept and be inspired!

Celebrate Watercoloring AAA Cards Game #27
Game 27 - Play with Watercolors
This week for playing with watercolors I've painted the Twinkling H2Os directly on to the Hero Arts Large Floral Background Stamp. My colors are Pink Azalea and Sunflower. I added water to the containers and applied with a paint brush and stamped. Can't get much easier than that!
