Rain AAA#34

Rain/Watercolor

This week at AAA Cards we want to do a rain dance to bring on Spring and warmer weather and flowers! For my card I used a stencil and Distress Stain in tumbled glass to create the look of a down pour. The Magenta wood stamp "Tall Solid Flowers" was inked up with DI peeled paint, spiced marmalade and wild honey and spritzed with water. I added dots/rain drops along the stems with Stickles "waterfall".
Come join us and upload your CAS rain/watercolor to the gallery at AAA Cards!

  3. I love all of the elements of this card. They come together to make a gorgeous creation. The torn edge and the piece of twine are such great touches. The sentiment is hopeful - I am waiting for snow to fall here in NJ.

  8. This is a really unique card. I love the torn look - what paper is that, it has a great texture (the water color card). Stamping with distress also gives a great 'hand painted' look :)

  9. Lovely! You have such a fine hand for card artistry. Torn and delicate, you can feel emotion there. Thanks for keeping in a little longer. Is your home hunt going well? hugs, Victoria

  10. Yes, I'm ready for rainshowers to replace the current 'snow' shower we're having today. The combination of water-colouring and stamping: eye-catching. Your tall flowers...oh my! What a wonderful image to have in your collection! Absolutely stunning!
    Hugs~c
