Easter was my favorite holiday growing up in the South. All the area Churches would join for the annual afternoon tea in the high school gymnasium the Sunday before Easter. It was always hot cinnamon and orange spiced tea and the best baked goods ever. My parents would purchased new outfits for us replete with gloves and hats for my sister and me. The easter poems were distributed in Sunday School a month before to recite on Easter Sunday.
I stamped the Impression Obsession, Inc. "Spring Bunny" and colored the grass and a few areas on the bunny. I then fussy cut the oval shaped bunny and popped up over the burlap and the Impression Obsession grass die cut.
Angela this is fantastic. Fabulous fussy cutting. I love the CAS look.
ReplyDeleteHave gotten a little 'blank' for something different for my Easter cards....you have given me some new ideas...LOVE! your card. I don't have a bunny stamp, but do have bunny dies and I know that will work. Thank you for sharing your talent.
ReplyDeleteLove this card, I really like what you have done with the burlap.
ReplyDeleteAngela, this card is absolutely beautiful, and the use of the burlap is inspired. Actually, I have had the pleasure of looking through ALL your cards, and I absolutely LOVE your style!! I will be visiting The Toolshed more often. And as an aside, I think your Dad's quote is apt - if it doesn't fit, cut it!!
