Burlap and Bunny
CAS(E) this Sketch #70 and CASual Fridays 130
CTS Favorites
Easter was my favorite holiday growing up in the South. All the area Churches would join for the annual afternoon tea in the high school gymnasium the Sunday before Easter. It was always hot cinnamon and orange spiced tea and the best baked goods ever. My parents would purchased new outfits for us replete with gloves and hats for my sister and me. The easter poems were distributed in Sunday School a month before to recite on Easter Sunday.
I stamped the Impression Obsession, Inc. "Spring Bunny" and colored the grass and a few areas on the bunny. I then fussy cut the oval shaped bunny and popped up over the burlap and the Impression Obsession grass die cut.

Congratulations Graduate!
With a load of graduations happening in May I wanted to do something without a mortarboard. What's better than a pretty medallion and simple banner! The sketch is so simply elegant that I could not resist. I used Spellbinders Parisian Accents medallion die and cut it in half. The bright colors make it little whimsical, fresh and bright.

Whatever You're Celebrating...
CASology Week 87: BLUSH
I didn't think much outside the box so "blush" for me today is soft pink.
I inked up the large rose wood mount rubber stamp by Impression Obsession using
Faber Castell PITT artist pens in medium flesh and pink madder lake for the flower and Distress Inks shabby shutters and forest moss for the leaves. I spritzed with water, stamped, let dry, stamped script image and heat embossed in white and fussy cut.
The bottom right corner is a vellum panel. This card can easily be massed produced. You can get a couple of watercolored roses at a time. I actually like fussy cutting. The card base measures 3⅞” x 5⅜” so that the flower can be off the page and card can easily fit in an A2 envelope.

Hello There!
The challenge is to Use at least 2 shades of gray, create something Clean And Simple. This card took 15 minutes to make which is the simple part. Hopefully there is enough white space to qualify as clean. I used Taylored Expressions hexagon dies for my rose, Wplus9 sentiment and a Sizzix framelit die for the banner label.
a New Little Someone
It's always good to have a card or two in your arsenal for baby showers and such.
My raindrops is partially sponged with a Balzer Designs template of a shinning star in Distress Ink worn lipstick. The umbrella is a memory box die and the little flowers are punched with Martha Stewarts small hydrangea punch. The sentiment is by Verve.

Untie The Ribbons
The color challenge is perfect for St. Patrick's Day celebration. Maybe even for a SPD gift! I wanted a clean and simple shape and design for this challenge.
The Gift box is Sizzlits, the dark brown ribbon is repurposed from a candy box. The memory box corner bow gives it a little flair and the Verve sentiment lets you know that everyday is a gift.
